Glenys Gijsbers – Director & Client Manager
Glenys has many years of administrative and organisational experience particularly in working with community groups and volunteers. She understands the community sector and its strengths and can work with these, consistently exceeding expectations.
She has worked overseas in Nepal for three years as well in many locations throughout country Victoria and in Melbourne. She has organised national and state conferences, run children’s programs and provided administrative services for a number of community organisations. All of these have been done with an air of competence and cheerful goodwill that has consistently been appreciated by all those who have been involved.
She is also a qualified therapy radiographer, and has attended a course in strategic planning for churches in Chicago, USA.
Richard Gijsbers – Principal
Richard Gijsbers is a consultant with extensive experience assisting a wide range of companies and organisations with their strategic development and information management. This includes planning and developing strategic projects, overseeing environmental management and planning, introducing e-business, conducting change management and advising on the use of information technology. He also has a passion for pragmatic approaches to project-based management ensuring that projects deliver effectively in an ever-changing environment.
He has had 25 years of experience in the Victorian public service working at all levels of implementation, planning and policy development. More recently he has worked as a consultant advising and helping government departments, local government, business associations and community groups in their planning and change management as well as in introducing the Internet into the organisation’s business.
He has also been a Visiting Research Fellow at both the Melbourne and Australian National Universities and has community forest development experience in Nepal, India and Cambodia.
He holds a Bachelor of Forest Science from Melbourne University and a Diploma of Forestry from the Victorian School of Forestry, Creswick. Richard has studied further in business and project management, and in contract management. He is trained in the PRINCE 2 project management approach and has been closely involved in Agile Project Management thinking.
Melissa Khalinsky – Business Manager
Prior to joining Stockdale ACS in 2011, Melissa ran her own business where she looked after a business network supporting small businesses, running events and conferences, and publishing a regular magazine. She brings a wealth of knowledge to the team including bookkeeping, website development, and social media management as well as an understanding of what organisations want and how to provide constructive support for them.
In her current role, she prepares the quarterly BAS for clients, prepares accounts for audit, touches base with various government departments including the ACNC, ATO, ASIC, and Fair Trading in a number of states, and ensuring compliance requirements, and a myriad of other tasks including social media management.
In her spare time, Melissa is a children’s author and runs a regular writers group for teens at her local library.
Emily Dittman-Golding – Client Manager
Emily joined the Stockdale ACS team in October 2014.
Emily enjoys providing a strong people-centered approach to all aspects of her work. She is enthusiastic and acutely aware of the detail in her projects. She has extensive experience in communicating with people from all walks of life and backgrounds and prides herself on being a compassionate and caring person. Emily particularly enjoys the event management and administrator roles that she performs at Stockdale ACS. Some of Emily’s highlights have been the management of a large conference in Brisbane, liaison with international VIPs, and website development and maintenance.
Emily is also an accomplished flautist and singer with 20+ years of experience, having been involved in numerous ensembles that have toured extensively around the globe. She currently sings with D’Caf, an a cappella group based in South East Melbourne. Emily regularly manages concerts and festivals, she loves engaging with different audiences. She is also enthusiastic about children’s education – especially in music.
Emily has spent many years in voluntary Executive Committee roles and is a Library Specialist, with qualifications and experience in Library Science.
In her spare time, Emily is a White Ribbon Advocate and is keenly outspoken on ending violence against women in Australia.
Christine Coates – Accounts Administrator & Client Liaison
Chris joined Stockdale ACS during 2006 after working for a couple of years at Monash University in the administration area. In the years before returning to work she had been very involved in her children’s schools and other community activities. She continues to run a weekly social group for lonely and isolated people in the community. She is also passionate about third world poverty and has had the privilege to visit Uganda a few times since 2007 to help in orphanages there.
Jillian Burns – Client Manager
Jillian has worked in customer service roles for many years and joined the Stockdale ACS team in August 2017. During her time with Stockdale ACS Jill has done all sorts, from answering customer inquiries to assisted in the planning and execution of large conferences and events. Jillian believes that attention to detail, open communication, flexibility and approachability are key factors in ensuring that projects and events run smoothly.
Jillian has completed a Diploma of Business Administration through Chisholm Institute and prides herself in her customer focus and solution-driven attitude allowing her to foresee and facilitate her clients needs to the highest possible standard.
Jill has sung in choirs since a young age and continues to sing with colleague Emily in a cappella group D’Caf, based in South East Melbourne.
Monika Jodkowski – Graphic Design
Monika looks after desktop publishing and graphic design at Stockdale ACS. She enjoys the creative aspect of the work and being able to work on many varied projects. Monika started working at Stockdale ACS in 2014 and took a study break during 2015. Monika also owns a business, where she works as a Holistic Counsellor and Healer. She loves helping people and is glad to be able to do this also.
Before living in Melbourne, Monika lived in Queensland and also spent a long time overseas, in Poland, where she worked and traveled. One of her favourites was Norway, where she was struck by the beauty of its forests, lakes and waterfalls and of course, glaciers.
In her spare time, Monika loves reading and travelling and exploring new places. She loves Melbourne and Victoria and is trying to discover them bit by bit. Monika also loves to draw and paint and has done some illustrating in the past.
